It’s Maureen’s voice you’ll often
hear when you call us. It’s her smile that will greet you
as you enter our door. A flexible and adaptable administrator,
she keeps things moving along for all of us at VGS bringing a variety
of talents to our team. Maureen loves to do research, and will
tenaciously persevere until she has the information she needs.
She is creative in problem solving and has a real “At Your
Service!” attitude.
Her sense of humor is one of her greatest assets.
Maureen holds a
degree in Sociology with a minor in Women’s
Studies from California State University at San Marcos. Maureen
lives in Dallas with husband Mike, and their dogs Abby and Maddie.
Her two handsome and talented sons are grown and making their way
in the world. Her favorite title in life these days is that of
grandma to two great little guys. She enjoys listening to music,
reading a good book, films, museums and the theatre, and walking
at White Rock Lake. She has a hidden desire to learn how to play
the drums.
A strong believer in volunteerism, Maureen gives
her time to several non-profit organizations; The Women's Museum
at Fair Park and Gilda's Club North Texas. She currently serves
on the Alumni board of Bishop Lynch High School and has worked
with the American Association of University Woman, The Leukemia
and Lymphoma Society and Boy Scouts of America.
Maureen joined the
VGS team in 1999 after moving back to Texas from California. |
